Comments:

married 1969 to my first wife (annette) bought and rented out appartments and houses in berkeley. 1979 moved with my now ex to st. louis. 1981 filed divorce and moved to germany where I have been since. Met my present wife and married two years later (1983) Worked for first two years by the americans (military) and after marrying i was able to work for the germans, which i promptly did. Worked in a german printshop and had my own printing and graphics business at home serving primarily the american military. Spent these years as the eternal tourist, drawing, photographing, and publishing a few books on the history of this area. Work together with a man who runs the archive for our town (Obernbreit) and spent alot of time digitalizing old books and documents. Preserving history. I am considered the town photograph (sometimes narr) I shoot weddings, etc here... work for the luthern church next door to us. Moving to germany was the best move i have ever made. My property taxes are about 79 euros a year, medical insurance is approximately 6 percent of the retirement income. Anyone interested in germany, or italy, i have a very large library of photos which i can copy and mail. I have had about 40 art exhibitions since i have been here and several photo exhibitions. I am curious what my fellow classmates have been upto all these years. Please forgive my lousy english, but after 31 years in germany you lose it.

School Story:

uninteresting, but the best education came after the schooling. And has never stopped. Am presently working on and repairing old clocks. A hobby i did in berkeley but restarted here in the last year. Unfortunately the mechanical clocks which I so love have stopped being made, and almost everything outside of very expensive grandfather clocks and the like have batteries. No soul... Getting parts for these clocks is difficult at best and i am forced to make many parts myself. One never stops learning (at least i hope). Cogito, ergo sum...

Very sorry to hear of JoAnn's death.  How the time seems to go by.  Its been a long long time since Tech High but never forget her.  How our lives have all gone in so many direction.  I remember as being very out going and very pretty.

slowly the wind
                  moves around
this house, standing with the shutters
closed
      (forever)
and the porch covered in the
                          brambles and leaves of autumn

like the many memories which
                              filled the little garden
with flowers

laughing with barefeet swinging
on the porch swing
in the warm evenings of summer

these are the memories as
the winter pulls its white shroud over
the landscape, and I the wind
blow hopelessly the snow around and
wait for spring.
